Hello, My Name isgabriel dayrit arlanza
I'm a Graphic Designer from Virginia Beach, Virginia. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design from Old Dominion University.

My works blend in creativity with simplicity and clarity, always aiming to make design both functional and visually engaging. I find inspiration in unexpected places, from my love of Guitar-driven music, motorsports, video games, and well.. roller coasters, they all spark my sense of interactivity, energy, and storytelling. These passions fuel the way I approach design, giving each project a unique edge and personality.

I’m one that believes design should be approachable and memorable. The design should be something that feels memorable to the person’s eye, while connecting them through experiences that would inspire and resonate for years to come.

Testimonials

“Gabe serves the material first. It doesn’t matter if it’s designing a new album for a band or a full brand for an established airline, Gabe finds the inspiration, clarity, and beauty in any project. His examples of branding are sharp and thoughtful, with a spark of color in meaningful moments. All of this is a direct reference to Gabe as a professional: Easy-going, but never lazy. His designs are polished and still brimming with character. Gabe makes every line, color, shape, word, and moment in design matter. Nothing is wasted, and nothing is left to question.”

"Gabe was an active member of our program, regularly participating in Design Club and putting his full effort into every project. His Blues and Tunes Coffeehouse project highlights his strong design skills and his passion for music."

Why do I even..  design?Graphic Design to me is a stem of creativity, which has been an incredible passion of mine since I was a kid. My inspiration in design stems from the fact that I don’t think I would ever go a day without creating something. The material shouldn’t matter if I’m designing on my computer, playing my guitar, or sketching my dog. I believe art is made from everything. To this day, I have been incredibly passionate to share my vision with anyone and everyone.

Graphic Design is truely an escape into a world where any imagination can run wild. To achieve the most greatest design of something requires a higher mindset and no limits. I have believe that since the day I walked into my first Graphic Design lecture.
