DESCRIPTIONAzuli is a fictional image-file manager desktop application, primarily used to (re)name, (re)format, change prefixes and suffixes, and number sequence multiple files all at once. Compared to many other softwares like it, Azuli is designed to be easy to use and access with simple navigation and user-flow. In addition, the application uses what is called “bar-guides” in which shows by each formatting tab where the format type will be in the file(s).OBJECTIVEDesign a file manager software with minimal use and appealing design. The software is necessary to be accessable to everyone and anyone, as compared to a softwares like NameMangler and Bulk Rename Utility.

SEQUENCING

The allignments are crucial for a simpler user interaction within the software. Though not relatively new of coarse, many other utilitarian designs somewhat do not use this. Resulting in a more difficult and tireing user-flow When doing this project, it felt it needed a more spacious not with just the grid and listing alignment, but also the minimalistic approach with the coding of the files as well.

REFLECTION

This project was a lot more thought out than expected. It teaches myself as a designer that not every uninteresting idea on paper will come out dull on its counterpart. Yet, I came out making an interesting and eye catching look to a software program meant for business/technical purposes.
